An additional crossbar between the table legs at a suitable height serves as a footrest.
In detail
An additional horizontal plywood bar connects two opposite table legs at a height that works comfortably as a footrest (similar to a bar footrail). Primarily improves ergonomic comfort when sitting at the table for longer, for example in a home office, and depending on construction can also increase the stability of the table frame.

Plywood
Multi-layer glued, so it stays dimensionally stable and resists warping – with the characteristic striped edge that remains visible on every cut. Finish in natural or black.
