Bench06⁄09
More than meets the eye
The entire seat folds up like a lid, with a storage compartment underneath.
In detail
Classic chest-bench construction: the seat is not fixed to the body but attached with a hinge at the back edge and has a handle for lifting. Underneath is a fully enclosed storage box for blankets, shoes or anything else.
Material
Plywood
Multi-layer glued, so it stays dimensionally stable and resists warping – with the characteristic striped edge that remains visible on every cut. Finish in natural or black.
