Bench04⁄09
Always within reach
Beneath the seat stays a continuous open compartment for storage, without a lid.
In detail
The bench seat is mounted raised on a base, creating a continuous, open, accessible space underneath – similar to an open shelf compartment, just in bench form. There is no lid and no mechanism: baskets, blankets or shoes are simply placed or pushed in and are always visible and accessible without any action.
Material
Plywood
Multi-layer glued, so it stays dimensionally stable and resists warping – with the characteristic striped edge that remains visible on every cut. Finish in natural or black.
