Shelf01⁄09
Order by the door
Shelf with diagonally milled slots in the lower section, holding shoes neatly side by side.
In detail
An open freestanding shelf whose lower section has several parallel slots running diagonally forward and down instead of ordinary horizontal shelves. Each slot is wide enough to slide a pair of shoes in sideways; the slope lets the shoe tilt slightly forward and stand stable without tipping over. The upper part stays an ordinary open compartment, like a classic shelf. Solves the everyday problem of shoes lying around in the hallway, without needing an extra piece of furniture.
Material
Plywood
Multi-layer glued, so it stays dimensionally stable and resists warping – with the characteristic striped edge that remains visible on every cut. Finish in natural or black.
